Amplified 2011 is now live! With 98 bands playing in 9 venues and 11 workshops, Amplified is going back to its roots and presenting a huge variety of the best Tasmanian music.

From August 1 you will also be able to sign up for a CMST membership directly through this site. A membership grants you access to our 1-on-1 Mentor services, our CMST Sessions and soon to come a special package discount for touring artists and their baggage excess.

Would you like to sit down with our Program Officer Dane Hunnerup and work through some ideas? Are you looking at hosting your own special event, wanting to tour or want to know more about band management or booking agencies etc?

CMST offers free 1-on-1 sessions for Tasmanian bands to sit down, have a coffee and talk about where you’re at and where you’d like to go. Email programofficer@cmst.com.au to book a place with this service.

We’re very excited to announce that we’ve received $10,000 funding from Tasmanian Regional Arts to establish a Tasmanian Regional Touring Network. Initially to curate a series of four tours totalling 36 shows throughout regional Tasmania, we’ll eventually be opening up these touring opportunities for Tassie bands to be able to undertake their own regional tours to our partner venues.

The Tourism Awards, looking for unique entertainment that expressed a specifically Tasmanian flavour, contacted CMST to source some original Tassie music for their event.
